2.Drivers transporting dangerous goods must have a high sense of responsibility and drive safely. Vehicles must strictly comply with traffic, fire protection, public security and other laws and regulations. The speed should be controlled, the distance from the vehicle in front should be maintained, and emergency braking should be avoided in advance when necessary. It is strictly forbidden to overtake in violation of regulations to ensure driving safety. Work carefully, one vehicle for one cargo, and do not mix them with each other. Dangerous goods should be tied firmly to ensure transportation safety. The transportation process should be carried out at a medium speed and carefully. Make the vehicle move forward in a stable manner. Emergency brakes should be used as little as possible during driving to keep the goods stable. It is worth reminding that no matter what kind of chemical products are transported, tarpaulins should be added to prevent cigarette butts from flying when crossing.
3.Check frequently during transportation. The potential safety hazard of dangerous goods transportation starts with leakage. Due to the bumps and vibrations of the vehicle during driving, it is often easy to cause packaging damage and accidents. Therefore, frequent inspections are required during transportation to identify problems in time and solve them in time.
4.The driving route and time should be chosen appropriately. When transporting dangerous goods, you should choose a smooth national highway trunk line, drive away from towns and residential areas, and do not stop to rest or eat on city streets or densely populated areas.
5.The packaging should be intact to avoid leakage. Dangerous goods should be packed in a safe way before shipment according to their properties, transportation distance, road conditions along the way, etc. The packaging must be firm and tight, and clear, standardized, and easy-to-identify signs should be made on the packaging. If dangerous goods leak during the shipment process, they should be properly handled according to their different properties.
6.Safe loading and unloading to prevent pollution. The roads, lights, signs, fire-fighting facilities, etc. at the loading and unloading site of dangerous goods must meet the conditions for safe loading and unloading. When loading and unloading dangerous goods, the car should be parked in the open air, and the loading and unloading workers should pay attention to their own protection and wear necessary protective equipment. Strictly abide by the operating procedures, load and unload gently, and it is strictly forbidden to drop, hit, roll over, press heavily, and invert. Goods that are afraid of moisture should be covered with tarpaulins. Goods must be stacked neatly and tied firmly. Dangerous goods of different natures cannot be mixed in the same vehicle.
7.Legal use of vehicles. Dangerous goods must be transported using vehicles that are specifically designed to transport dangerous goods.
8.Be careful to prevent fire. Fire is prohibited in the transportation of dangerous goods. Tools that do not produce sparks should be used when loading and unloading dangerous goods. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the carriage, and the vehicle must not be close to open flames, high temperature places, and places exposed to the sun.
9.Pay attention to parking. Vehicles loaded with dangerous goods must not be parked in schools, government offices, markets, places of historical interest, or scenic tourist areas. If loading and unloading operations or temporary parking are necessary in the above areas, safety measures should be taken and the consent of the local public security department should be obtained. When parking, someone should be left on guard, and no outsiders are allowed to approach the vehicle. Ensure that the vehicle is safe while people are present.
10.Clean the compartment after unloading. After unloading dangerous goods, the residue on the vehicle should be cleaned, and the vehicles and tools contaminated by dangerous goods must be washed and disinfected. It is strictly forbidden to transport edible, medicinal items, feed, animals and plants without thorough disinfection.
