Notice on Illegal Storage of Hazardous Chemicals

If the quantity is not large, what are the requirements and procedures for storing hazardous chemicals?

There are two types of illegal storage:

1. The fire hazard classification of the storage warehouse does not match the items;

2. The storage method is not right.

Our commonly used warehouses are Class C. If they do not match, it means that you are storing Class A and Class B.

So we can simply classify hazardous chemicals into two categories:

1. Class A and Class B flammable and explosive hazardous chemicals

2. Other categories: such as some toxic and harmful

1. For Class A and B fire hazardous chemicals         

General Rules for Storage of Hazardous Chemical Warehouses 5.8

For warehouses storing fire hazardous chemicals, the fire resistance level, number of floors, area and fire separation distance shall comply with the requirements of GB50016.

The fire hazard of stored items shall be classified according to factors such as the nature of the stored items and the amount of combustibles in the stored items, and can be divided into Class A, B, C, D and E, and shall comply with the provisions of Table 3.1.3.

2. Storage of other hazardous chemicals Storage methods and methods shall comply with the requirements

(1) Storage methods: isolation, separation, separate storage

(2) Storage methods: ventilation, moisture-proof, anti-corrosion, anti-leakage, whether the five distances meet the requirements, etc. Basis: 1.
