Laboratory safety inspection
System construction
⑴ Whether the rules and regulations, operating procedures, etc. are complete and posted on the wall;
⑵ Whether the laboratory safety responsibility system is sound;
⑶ Whether there is an emergency plan (chemical, biological, radiation)
⑷ Whether there is a responsible person at the door of the laboratory.
Safety responsibility system
Whether a two-level responsibility system of colleges (departments) and institutes (laboratories) has been established.
Safety inspection ledger
The laboratory establishes a safety inspection ledger, records problems and rectification completion.
Sanitary environment
⑴ Whether lab coats and protective glasses are worn during experiments;
⑵ Whether food is cooked or eaten in the laboratory;
⑶ Whether there is a phenomenon that the waste items are not cleaned up in time;
⑷ Whether there are electric vehicles and bicycles parked in the laboratory;
⑸ Whether there are personal items piled up in the laboratory;
⑹ Whether there is a phenomenon of staying overnight in the laboratory.
Fire safety
⑴ Is there a warning prohibiting smoking in the laboratory?
⑵ Is the configuration of fire-fighting equipment reasonable?
⑶ Is the fire-fighting passage unobstructed?
⑷ Is there any phenomenon of stacking instruments and items in public passages?
⑸ Is there any phenomenon of using open flame electric stoves without approval in the chemical laboratory?
Electrical safety
⑴ Is there a phenomenon that the circuit capacity is not suitable for high-power equipment;
⑵ Is there a phenomenon of randomly connecting wires, using flower wires, and using wooden distribution boards;
⑶ Is there a phenomenon of aging wires;
⑷ Is there a phenomenon of multiple high-power instruments using one wiring board;
⑸ Is there a phenomenon that the power supply is not turned off in time after the instrument is used;
⑹ Is there a phenomenon that the wiring board is placed directly on the ground.
Ovens, resistance furnaces
⑴ Check the fault conditions and whether they are over-serviced;
⑵ Are there any gas cylinders or flammable and explosive chemicals around the ovens and drying ovens;
⑶ Are there any phenomena that affect the heat dissipation of the ovens and drying ovens (such as piles of debris around);
⑷ Is there any phenomenon of unattended baking in the drying oven;
Anti-theft safety
⑴ Are the doors and windows safe;
⑵ Is there a phenomenon of doors being open but unattended;
⑶ Are there any anti-theft and monitoring facilities at the storage locations of highly toxic drugs, pathogenic microorganisms, radioactive sources, etc.;
Chemical reagents
⑴ Is the storage location safe;
⑵ The safety of acid and alkali cylinders (marks, locations, covers?);
⑶ Are there any large barrels of reagents piled up;
⑷ Is there a large amount of chemicals and organic solvents mixed;
⑸ Are there any chemical reagents with unclear labels;
⑹ Is there a phenomenon of storing reagent bottles with lids open.
Highly toxic drugs
Whether the "five pairs" management system has been implemented: two people receiving and sending, two people using, two people transporting, and two people keeping with double locks.
Waste discharge
⑴ Is there any laboratory waste classification container?
⑵ Is there any mixing of laboratory waste and domestic waste?
⑶ Is there any dumping of waste chemical reagents into the sewer?
⑷ Is there any laboratory waste piled up outside the laboratory door?
⑸ Is there any random discharge of toxic and harmful gases? Is there any gas absorption device?
Gas cylinder safety
⑴ Are there any residual discarded cylinders stored?
⑵ Are there any gas cylinders that are not fixed?
⑶ Are there any dangerous gas cylinders mixed (mainly combustible gas cylinders and oxygen and other flame retardant gas cylinders mixed)?
⑷ Is there any insufficient ventilation in the storage area of dangerous gas cylinders?
⑸ Is there any large number of gas cylinders piled up?
⑹ Is there any phenomenon of forgetting to close the safety valve?
⑺ Are there any corresponding gas marks on the gas cylinders?
⑻ Are the connections of gas cylinders stored in independent gas cylinder storage rooms standardized?
⑼ Is there a dedicated person to manage the independent gas cylinder storage room?
⑽ Whether the gas connection pipelines are checked.
