Can special containers transport dangerous goods?
Special containers can transport dangerous goods, so what should be paid attention to when transporting such dangerous goods?
Let us introduce the types of dangerous chemicals, which are currently divided into three categories: flammable and explosive, easy to poison, and easy to pollute. Once a vehicle causes an accident during transportation, it may lead to serious derivative accidents with disastrous consequences. The following are our requirements for the transportation and loading and unloading of special containers for dangerous chemicals.
1. Before packing, the special container should be inspected to confirm that it is in good technical condition, and cleaned to remove irrelevant signs and marks.
2. Before packing, check whether there are residues in the special container that conflict with the nature of the dangerous goods to be packaged. If any problems are found, the shipper should be notified in time to deal with them.
3. Before packing, check the packaging to be packed. Packages that are damaged, overflowing, soaked in water, and contaminated by other pollutants shall not be packaged, and the damaged parts that overflow and the overflow after cleaning shall be handled by the shipper.
4. Dangerous goods with conflicting properties, different fire extinguishing methods, or easy to pollute are not allowed to be packed in the same special container. When dangerous goods are assembled with other goods according to assembly requirements, they should be installed near the door. The package should be fully supported and fixed in the special container.
5. When packing, it should be packed according to the loading requirements to prevent overloading and overloading.
6. After packing, close the door and seal it, and paste the dangerous goods sign and the sign consistent with the nature of the dangerous goods in the box as required.
7. Fumigation containers should be affixed with fumigation warning signs. When solid carbon dioxide (dry ice) is used for cooling, an indicator mark or sign should be posted in a conspicuous position at the outer door end of the special container, and the words "There is dangerous carbon dioxide (dry ice) inside, so be sure to ventilate thoroughly before entering!" should be marked.
8. When the special container contains goods that are prone to produce toxic or flammable gases, the door should be opened first when unloading, and loading and unloading operations can only be carried out after sufficient ventilation.
9. Containers unloading dangerous goods should be handled safely; contaminated special containers should be cleaned according to regulations or at designated locations.
10. Containers containing toxic substances, infectious substances and radioactive substances should be unpacked and ventilated before cleaning or cleaning. Workers who clean or clean should wear appropriate protective equipment. Washing wastewater is not allowed to be discharged without treatment.
Therefore, it is possible to load hazardous chemicals in special containers, but it is important to classify hazardous chemicals, do a good job of protection, and the fire and explosion resistance must be good!
