As a container for storing and transporting high-pressure gas, gas cylinders play a vital role in all walks of life. However, due to the high-pressure gas stored inside, serious safety accidents may occur in the event of leakage or improper operation. Therefore, the safety control of gas cylinders is particularly important.

1.Gas cylinders should be stored outdoors in places with sunshades and awnings or in special warehouses.

2.Gas cylinder storage rooms shall not be located in basements or semi-basements, nor shall they be located together with offices or break rooms.

3.The storage place should be ventilated, dry, and protected from rain (snow), flooding, and direct sunlight. Open flames and other heat sources are strictly prohibited. There are no trenches, secret passages or bottom ventilation holes, and any pipelines are strictly prohibited from passing through.

4.Tighten the bottle caps, place them neatly, leave channels, and secure them properly; gas bottles should be placed horizontally to prevent them from rolling, with their heads facing one side. High-pressure gas bottles should not be stacked in more than 5 layers.

5.The lighting equipment in warehouses storing flammable and explosive gas cylinders must be explosion-proof. Electrical switches and fuses should be installed outside the warehouse, and lightning protection devices should be installed.

6.Cylinders containing toxic gases, or gas cylinders that can cause combustion and explosion if the media contained in them come into contact with each other, should be stored in separate rooms, and gas-proof appliances or fire-extinguishing equipment should be provided nearby.

7.The storage period of gas cylinders containing gases that are prone to polymerization reactions should be specified.

8.Do not place gas bottles where they may conduct electricity.
